* Passwords not working? They are case sensitive, so make sure you are typing in the exact ones you created. Your temporary passwords are complex and typos are easy to make (believe us, we know!) Double click them to copy and paste into the proper fields and it will minimize errors. If you drag your mouse to copy, you may inadvertently pick up a "space" in addition to the characters and that will produce an invalid copy.
* Still not working? Click the "Forgot Password" tab next to your sign in box and we'll send you ones immediately.
* Videos not playing? Some videos on Collective Talent are in the WMV file format. However, most video uploaded into CTis in the QuickTime format. To view your videos, you will need QuickTime version 7.0 or later. You can get a free download of this program at www.apple.com/quicktime/download
* Browser acting funny? Collective Talent is best viewed using the FireFox browser but is also formatted for use on Internet Explorer. However, Collective Talent does not support the Safari browser at this time (Mac users). For the best user experience while using Collective Talent we highly recommend the Firefox browser. You can get a free download at: www.mozilla.com/firefox
* Your Collective Talent account will log out if unused for 20 minutes. This is for security purposes and functions will not operate after that time and you will have to log in again.
* Systems like Collective Talent are not designed to use the "back buttons" on your browser to navigate. Use only the tabs on the site to navigate and you will have fewer problems. To log out, always use the "Sign Out" tab.
STATIONS: POSTING A JOB TO COLLECTIVE TALENT:
To post a job after you have logged in:
1. Click the "Post Job" tab below your welcome message. Use the pull down menu to define the job you are posting.
2. Fill in or click the job start date (you may also click the "Choose" tab to open the calendar program).
3. Paste or fill in the job description.
4. The "Contact" name will default to your own. However, if there is someone else you prefer as the initial contact person (HR, etc.), you may change that.
5. Once you have completed all these functions, hit "Submit" and your posting flies through cyberspace to the Collective Talent job database!
When agents or talent respond to your posting, you will receive an email alert. There will be a hot link in the email that takes you directly to the Collective Talent site
TO VIEW TALENT VIDEO POSTED TO YOUR ACCOUNT:
1. Click the "Talent Review" tab on your personalized page. Then use the pulldown menu under "Select a job listing" to specify the posting you wish to review.
2. Click the "View" tab on the left side of each job submission to view the talent video, read and/or print the resume and note any comments the agent may have sent.
3. You may respond to the agent using the built-in email program
