Meghan Bragg

Meghan’s reporter/anchor role at WBBH, Ft. Myers is full circle from college in Florida to Saipan to North Platt to Lincoln and the Sunshine state again.

Meghan graduated from Florida Southern College in 2012 with a bachelors degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Following college, she landed a job as a reporter on Saipan, a beautiful island in Asia. There she covered the CNMI legislature and the impeachment of the CNMI's governor.

After spending a year in Asia, Meghan moved to North Platte, Nebraska where she helped start a new station and added anchoring to her career. She also received an Eric Sevareid Award for a newscast she anchored and produced.

After two years in North Platte, Meghan moved across the state to Lincoln Nebraska. At this larger market, she anchored a two-hour morning show and also covered the Nebraska Legislature.

In January 2017, Meghan accepted a reporter position in Fort Myers. For three years, she’s covered several stories that gained national attention; Hurricane Irma and the hunt for accused serial killer, Lois Riess.  Meghan worked closely with the Lee County Sheriff’s office covering all types of crime in southwest Florida.
