Brandon Liguori

Brandon Liguori is a sports writer/reporter who graduated with a Bachelor's in Journalism from Florida Gulf Coast University, located in Fort Myers, Florida. His passion for sports started at six years old, where he read the Sports section of the South Florida Sun Sentinel, the main daily newspaper of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on a daily basis. 

As a freshman at Florida Gulf Coast University, Brandon, at just 18 years old, joined Eagle News, a student-run news site of FGCU. He covered men's soccer, women's volleyball as well as men's basketball. His involvemnt with Eagle News led him to join a sports debate show, ENTV's Hard Hitters. Brandon's work began growing in 2018 when he was awarded to join PhinManiacs, covering Miami Dolphins football. Writing for PhinManiacs, he is responsible for providing an in-depth analysis of the Miami Dolphins, covering community events, training camp, exhibition and regular-season games. On September 8, 2019, he was granted an opportunity to cover the Dolphins' season-opening contest vs. the Baltimore Ravens in the press box at Hard Rock Stadium, his first-ever press box appearance. Brandon is also the host of his podcast, The PhinManiacs Preview. Brandon has proudly welcomed in special guests on his show, including NBC 6 Sports Anchor Ruthie Polinsky and Channel 10 Sports Anchor's Will Manso and Clay Ferraro. Brandon finds a way to think outside of the box in relation to the Journalism field. Aside from PhinManiacs, he covers Miami Marlins baseball for FishStripes, affiliated with SB Nation. Before the start of the game, he hosts a quick one-on-one chat on a seat in the dugout with numerous players, most notably Miami Marlins' Sandy Alcantara, Miguel Rojas and New York Mets' Pete Alonso.
