Rebecca Gomez

Rebecca Gomez

Rebecca Gomez Diamond has more than 15 years experience in journalism, from hosting her own business show on Fox to being a writer for Associated Press. After graduating with honors from the University of Maryland’s Journalism College, Rebecca started her career as a writer for Associated Press Broadcast in Washington, D.C. Her TV career launched in the small market of McAllen, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley. She quickly moved up markets to San Diego, Phoenix, Los Angeles and New York City. Rebecca was one of the first anchor/correspondents for Fox News Channel, anchoring hourly shows and covering breaking news across the country. Rebecca was a regular panelist on Fox shows, debating the topics of the day. Rebecca furthered her education at New York University to move into business news. She helped launch the Fox Business Channel, debuting the first show on the network, called Happy Hour, a ground-breaking, one-hour weekday show that was live from the Bull and Bear Bar in the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. Rebecca was also notably an Associated Press business writer in New York City and an anchor/reporter for Lifetime Television. Rebecca stepped away from her career to raise a family, build a few homes and become a substitute teacher to help New Jersey schools during the Covid crisis. Rebecca is returning to TV with a fresh perspective and dynamic attitude.
