Kyra Jones
Kyra Jones joined the WSAV News 3 team in July 2022. She is thrilled to call the Lowcountry home. As a little girl, her mom introduced her to news as a young age. She recalls her mom telling her, ‘you need to know what’s going on in the world,’ and ever since then news has been her passion. Her two loves are entertainment and sports news. She is a big sports fan and her favorite team is the San Francisco 49ers. Kyra graduated Magna Cum Laude from Widener University, where she majored in Journalism. There, she anchored and reported on the school’s news show. Before she came to the Lowcountry, Kyra was a production assistant at NBC 10 in Philadelphia. When Kyra is not busy reporting the news, she is catching up on Real Housewives, talking to family, and exploring the restaurant scene.
