"BIG" News At WRAL

WRAL has launched a new set that will house what is believed to be the largest local news LED installation in the country. Not one, but two, LED screen arrays will help the WRAL News and Weather teams present everything from breaking news to severe weather in a bigger, bolder way. WRAL partnered with our friends at FX Design Group, industry leaders in set design and tech. Mack McLaughlin, FX Design Group Creative Director says, “Our latest design is loaded with LED technology from the 20' wide x 11' high LED storytelling wall, to the LED color changing walls and LED studio lighting. Check out more at the WRAL website!

Talent Moves at DCA

Reporter TIFFANY JUSTICE jumps to KRIV-TV in Houston (from KUTV-TV, Salt Lake). Meteorologist GREG POLLAK moves to weekends at News 4 San Antonio and Fox San Antonio (from WNYT-TV, Albany). Reporter/Anchor CHIP BRIERRE joins the sports staff at WJLA-TV in Washington, D.C. SYDNEY GLENN heads west to report for KSTU-TV in Salt Lake City (from WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach). TED NOAH joins WTKR-TV in Norfolk as Traffic Reporter. TAMARA SACHARCZYK joins WJAR-TV in Providence as Weekend Morning Anchor (from WWLP-TV, Springfield-Holyoke) ALL are represented by Steve Swienckowski at DCA Talent.

Talent Moves at 3 Kings

ALEXANDRA STEVENSON former Wimbledon Semifinalist and 18th ranked women’s tennis player in the world joined ESPN as a tennis host/analyst for the 2019 coverage of the US Open. MATT SCHUMACKER joins ESPN as a play-by-play announcer for college basketball and college softball games. MOLLY SULLIVAN joins the NFL Network as a sideline reporter for the network's coverage of Conference USA football games. CHRIS MILES renews his agreement as a studio host with Turner Sports and NBA TV in Atlanta. JOHNY FERNANDEZ moves to New York and joins CBS News as a freelance reporter from reporter at WFTV in Orlando. SAMANTHA CHATMAN  joins ABC O&O WLS-TV as a reporter covering consumer issues for the Weekday Morning Newscast from NBC O&O KXAS in Dallas. ANTHONY AMEY becomes the Prime Time Sports Anchor for Black News Channel (“BNC”), a 24/7 news channel geared toward African American audiences. ARRAN ANDERSEN moves to KUSA-TV 9NEWS in Denver as a Sports Anchor from WNCN in Raleigh. PAUL RIVERA joins WESH-TV in Orlando as a reporter. TODD KURTZ renews his agreement as morning anchor at KOAT Action 7 News. Talent Moves At Napoli Management

Sam Brock joins NBC News as a Network Correspondent. Matt Brickman returns to his roots on the East Coast and joins the team at WNBC in New York as weekend evening meteorologist. Jennifer McGraw moves to KTLA in Los Angeles as a freelance reporter. Catalina Villegas is promoted to weekend evening anchor at Spectrum Los Angeles. Corey Davis moves to WPVI in Philadelphia as a reporter. Kellie Meyer moves back to DC for a bureau reporter position with Nexstar. Drew Wilder moves from freelance to full-time reporting for WRC in Washington, DC. Chris Flanagan is promoted to 4pm weeknight anchor at WFXT in Boston. Raul Martinez is promoted to sports director from sports anchor at WBTS in Boston. Juliana Mazza moves to a top ten market and back home to New England to become a weekend morning anchor and reporter at WHDH in Boston. Natalie Lizarraga moves across the country to become the primary anchor at NECN/NBC Boston.  She leaves KTLA in Los Angeles where she has been a digital anchor. Justin Gray joins WSB in Atlanta as an investigative reporter.  He most recently was a Washington DC Correspondent for the Cox Media Group. Halle is available!
