Talent Moves At Napoli Management

Congrats to our friends at NMG for a number of great newsroom placements: 

Will Jones is named MMJ of the newly created Race and Culture beat at WLS.  Jennifer Delgado joins WTTG in Washington DC as weekend evening meteorologist. Julian Glover takes on a new assignment as Race & Culture MMJ for KGO in San Francisco. Elliott Polakoff joins KPHO in Phoenix to become a news and sports MMJ. Christin Ayers has been promoted to Executive Producer of “Facing Race” at KING in Seattle. Brittany Johnson returns to her home state and joins KCRA in Sacramento as an investigative reporter. Gurajpal Sangha moves to his hometown to join KTXL in Sacramento as a reporter and MMJ. Jamie Ostroff makes a 52 market jump and becomes an investigative reporter at WCMH in Columbus. Marisa Woloszyn makes an 82 market jump and joins WTMJ in Milwaukee as the weekend morning meteorologist and the Monday-Friday fill-in. Ruben Juarez makes a move from sports to news and returns home to Grand Rapids as a news MMJ for WOOD. Russ McCaskey joins WINK-TV in Ft. RON BURKE moves to KOAT-TV in Albuquerque where he’ll anchor the 4 p.m. newscast and then do sports at 6 and 10. KARSEN BUSCHJOST takes his first Main Anchor gig at KMID-TV in the Odessa-Midland market. LAUREN McDONALD returns home to North Carolina as Morning Co-Anchor for WCCB-TV in Charlotte (from KXRM, Colorado Springs). Meteorologist Brett Anthony takes a Chief gig at KYTX-TV in the Tyler-Longview market (from weekends at KCTV-TV in Kansas City).LISA WASHINGTON moves to Primary Co-Anchor at WNEP-TV in the Scranton-Wilkes Barre market (from weekends at KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh). SCOTT CARPENTER makes the wise move from sports to news. He’ll be the new Weekend Morning Anchor at Des Moines powerhouse KCCI-TV (from Sports Anchor, WLTZ-TV, Columbus, GA). SHARON TAZEWELL is now anchoring for Spectrum 1 News Carolina. Reporter TYLER DUMONT joins WJAR-TV in Providence. CHIP BRIERRE joins The Washington Football Team as Broadcaster / Host. Reporter DARREN BOTELHO joins WLNE-TV In Providence. GABRIELLE FRANKLIN jumps to Denver’s KDVR/KWGN (from the Champaign-Springfield omarket) as Political Reporter/MMJ. Reporter ROBERT GRANT joins WFOX/WJAX-TV in Jacksonville (from WVLT-TV,

Talent Moves At 3 Kings Entertainment

Congrats to our friends at 3 Kings Entertainment on a number of great newsroom placements: ZUBIN MEHENTI is promoted to co-host ESPN Radio’s new morning show, “Keyshawn, Jay and Zubin.”  JAN JEFFCOAT this week becomes the face of Sinclair’s National News Service, solo anchoring a new weekday morning show from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. She is based out of Sinclair’s new studios in Washington, D.C. JOHN SCHRIFFEN joins ESPN as a play-by-play announcer, host, and reporter for all of the network’s programs and platforms based in Los Angeles. TIM MURRAY joins VSiN in Las Vegas as a host and will contribute across all of the network’s programs and platforms. LISA VILLAGES, a meteorologist from KOLD in Tucson, Ariz., joins KCPQ in Seattle, where she’ll be the station’s chief meteorologist. CARLA METTS GEBHART is joining WJZY in Charlotte, N.C., as a sports MMJ. JOSEPH OJO, a reporter at WBBH in Fort Myers, Fla., is heading to Baltimore as a reporter at WBFF. Investigative reporter WENDY HALLORAN joined KUTV in Salt Lake City. All are represented by Matthew Kingsley

 

Talent Moves at Napoli Managment

Ryan Young moves to the Atlanta headquarters of CNN and signs a new agreement as national correspondent.  Craig Stevens celebrates his twentieth year as primary anchor by renewing his agreement at WSVN in Miami. Gene Kang moves to KTLA where he will join the team as a freelance reporter. Erik Runge is promoted to fulltime morning reporter at WGN in Chicago. Aisha Mbowe joins WHDH in Boston as a reporter in early December. Lena Tillett moves to anchor the 4, 5:30 and 10PM broadcasts at WRAL in Raleigh.  Kacy Hintz joins WRAL in Raleigh as weekend sports anchor. Lexie Petrovic joins WWMT in Kalamazoo as a reporter and MMJ. Stephon Dingle is promoted to evening anchor and reporter at WLKY in Louisville. Jennifer Abney moves back to the Carolinas as she becomes primary anchor for WPDE in Myrtle Beach. Kristine Lazar renews her agreement with KCBS/KCAL in Los Angeles as the 2 On Your Side reporter and anchor. Talent Moves at JBA

Congrats to John Butte & Associates for several successful talent moves in the midst of the pandemic. At WKYC, Cleveland, Danielle Wiggins is promoted to morning news co-anchor of the 4:30 a.m. newscast. She continues as both morning traffic anchor and reporter. Across the street, Investigative Reporter, Sara Goldenberg renews her role at WOIO. Also, in Cleveland, Kamady Rudd joins Spectrum News 1 Ohio in a morning update role and reporter as Spectrum expands its Cleveland news coverage. Meghan Bragg moves to the evening co-anchor desk at WSTM, Syracuse from her reporter position at WBBH, Ft. Myers. Reporter and backup anchor Amber Krycka, WJAX Jacksonville, returns to the Midwest as the main evening co-anchor at Quincy’s WEEK, Peoria.  In New Orleans, Jade Cunningham, adds another contract year to her reporting and backup anchor role at WWL. These journalists are all represented by John Butte.

Reporter BRIDGET CHAVEZ moves to KPTV-TV in Portland, Oregon (from KOLO-TV, Reno).
GEOFF HARRIS moves to Weekend Morning Anchor and Reporter at WZVN-TV in the Fort Myers-Naples market. ALEX ALECCI joins WESH-TV in Orlando as Weekend Meteorologist (from WTAE-TV, Pittsburgh). JASON STIFF takes the Chief Meteorologist spot at KHSL-TV in the Chico-Redding market. Congrats to Steve Swienckowski at DCA Talent for all of these placements.

Scott Abraham is promoted to primary sports anchor at WJLA in Washington, DC. Michael Lopardi joins KPRC in Houston as a general assignment reporter. Chance Seales renews his Scripps agreement as host and correspondent with Newsy in Washington, DC. Katya Guillaume is heading home to Tampa joining Bay News 9 as an MMJ. Justin Pazera is promoted to morning anchor for KASW in Phoenix. Prior to this, Justin was weekend anchor at KNXV. Josh Sanders joins the KPNX News team in Phoenix as a full-time MMJ. Kacy Hintz makes a 70 market jump and becomes the new weekend sportscaster at WRAL.
