Congrats to our friends at 3 Kings Entertainment on a number of great newsroom placements: ZUBIN MEHENTI is promoted to co-host ESPN Radio’s new morning show, “Keyshawn, Jay and Zubin.” JAN JEFFCOAT this week becomes the face of Sinclair’s National News Service, solo anchoring a new weekday morning show from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. She is based out of Sinclair’s new studios in Washington, D.C. JOHN SCHRIFFEN joins ESPN as a play-by-play announcer, host, and reporter for all of the network’s programs and platforms based in Los Angeles. TIM MURRAY joins VSiN in Las Vegas as a host and will contribute across all of the network’s programs and platforms. LISA VILLAGES, a meteorologist from KOLD in Tucson, Ariz., joins KCPQ in Seattle, where she’ll be the station’s chief meteorologist. CARLA METTS GEBHART is joining WJZY in Charlotte, N.C., as a sports MMJ. JOSEPH OJO, a reporter at WBBH in Fort Myers, Fla., is heading to Baltimore as a reporter at WBFF. Investigative reporter WENDY HALLORAN joined KUTV in Salt Lake City. All are represented by Matthew Kingsley
Ryan Young moves to the Atlanta headquarters of CNN and signs a new agreement as national correspondent. Craig Stevens celebrates his twentieth year as primary anchor by renewing his agreement at WSVN in Miami. Gene Kang moves to KTLA where he will join the team as a freelance reporter. Erik Runge is promoted to fulltime morning reporter at WGN in Chicago. Aisha Mbowe joins WHDH in Boston as a reporter in early December. Lena Tillett moves to anchor the 4, 5:30 and 10PM broadcasts at WRAL in Raleigh. Kacy Hintz joins WRAL in Raleigh as weekend sports anchor. Lexie Petrovic joins WWMT in Kalamazoo as a reporter and MMJ. Stephon Dingle is promoted to evening anchor and reporter at WLKY in Louisville. Jennifer Abney moves back to the Carolinas as she becomes primary anchor for WPDE in Myrtle Beach. Kristine Lazar renews her agreement with KCBS/KCAL in Los Angeles as the 2 On Your Side reporter and anchor. Check out more talent moves here.
